Long Awaited Not Arriving Package

I have been waiting for a package from the 29th of September 2023 in Durban. It arrived in Pretoria Depot on the 2nd of October 2023 and on the 3rd of October it was on board the courier vehicle but never arrived to my home (In Pretoria). After contacting them via email they said it will arrive on the 9th but never did. According to the tracking it says on the 6th of October 2023 they experienced a problem with my parcel. Today on the 10th of October 2023 they said I should expect my package.

I am really disappointed at this service. If they are not able to deliver they should have been honest with me and we could maybe come up with an agreement. Now I am waiting and given empty promises.
