Fastway couriers

So I followed up constantly on a package that was to be delivered to me, finally after numerous attempts a guy calls from the Durban branch and was extremely rude. After going back and forth, I was informed that my package will be delivered the next morning 31/12/2021. Being new years eve most couriers close early but I was assured my package will be delivered. I received confirmation on the morning of the 31st via email stating my package will be delivered during the course of the day, this did not happen. As per the tracking app my package is on board the courier vehicle since 8:30am. I have seen on social media numerous people complaining about the pathetic service received from this company. When doing future purchases I will query beforehand with the company which courier they are using and should it be fastway I will inform that I prefer a different courier as the lack of service and poor customer service received from this courier is pathetic.
