Failed promise delivery.

I ordered the parcel, everything went well. On delivery day got email stating my parcel is on it's way and currently in the delivery van. This were at 8:48am. At 16:29 I got concerned as it's getting late so I phone their Pretoria office, lady on the phone were professional and helped me swiftly. She ask me to hold on so she could phone the driver. After about 5 minute call in total se got back on the line and said she just spoke to the driver and he is close by and coming definitely today... I stayed at work till 17:30 and no parcel delivered. So here is my problem if you notify me 8 hours before its coming AND confirmed via phone directly from driver that ensure it will be delivered and yet still not. As it's urgent I could have pick it up from their warehouse, or drove and meet the driver somewhere but waited it out as I've been told "no it's on it's way". Simple from my side, next tine I would just select different courier from the merchant list that had like 3 alternative options.
