Extremely Poor Parcel Administration - Valuable item Lost/******/Abandoned

It has been close to a month since I ordered a parcel that came via Fastway Couriers from Buffalo Logistics and the parcel seems to have been lost/****** by the courier personnel. While tracking the parcel on the Buffalo website several personnel from Fastway Couriers called me promising to deliver the following day. The 1st gentleman failed to deliver on the day he promised and then tossed the item to another gentleman who called me promising me to deliver. After my agreement with the 2nd gentleman concerning the delivery, he too failed to deliver denying that it wasn't his responsibility to deliver in my area. On the morning after the day he promised to deliver I called him asking him what happened only to find that he tossed the parcel away from his desk, he too denied responsibility. On that morning I tracked the parcel on the Buffalo website at around 8:30 - 9:00 am and it was wrongly indicated that the item was delivered (the delivery time logged on the website hadn't even passed on that day). This points out to a weak tracking algorithm on the part of Buffalo, seems to have bugs. I inquired about the matter at Buffalo & also at Fastway only to find out later that my signature was ****d. This further points out to a poor delivery verification system that can generate many false positives. They claimed they delivered to someone on my behalf yet I did kindly request, about a week or two earlier, that they communicate upon delivery, which they failed to do. Thereafter I kindly asked them to do historical tracking of the particular vehicle & delivery personnel in question to help track my parcel plus to kindly help get further information from the personnel (if they did indeed deliver) and that was the last time I heard from them. It seems my valuable item got lost/******, or perhaps it's laying abandoned around one of their premises!
