Another useless courier.

For some context. I ordered something from Amazon on the same day I ordered this and it took 3 business days to get here. From America. 13000km in 3 days. Ordered Friday, received on Tuesday.

This was sent on Monday and with the public holiday should have been delivered yesterday, as scheduled. To get a package from Cape Town to Johannesburg has so far taken 4 days. 4 days to move 1400km. It takes longer to move a package with Fastway a 10th of a distance in the same country, as it took to move from a whole other country. To put it in perspective. A package moved from Kentucky to Dubai, where there was a delay, to Johannesburg in 58 hours. It took Fastway 35 hours to move it from Cape Town to Johannesburg. In 35 hours the package from Amazon had already moved through 2 countries and was at customs.

It would have been 3 but apparently yesterday the driver ran out of time and it was then just taken back. After calling yesterday twice, I was told it was still scheduled for delivery. Even when I called at 5.

Leaving me to spend another day waiting in the hopes that it might happen today. Oh and Fastway do not respond to online enquiries or emails.
