Very bad service for a hospital
Takes to long to open a file they say waiting time to open a file is 30 minutes been waiting for almost 3 hours just to open a file the hospital is suppose to help the people not let them wait so long just to open a file

Appalling, you should be embarrassed.
I am completely mortified at the lack of efficiency, empathy and concern for patients at this hospital. This hospital should hang its head in shame. It's filthy, unpleasant and the security and staff are appallingly rude, obnoxious and uncaring. This hospitals motto should be hurry up and wait to die, as we don't care.

Unhappy patient
The staff is noisy, rude and lack empathy. During shift change they take their time and start their shift after an hour. I was rushed to casualty this morning around 5am only to be examined by one of the rude nurses at Gynae department only after 8am and the worse part was when I met the doctor after 11 am only to tell me that I have fibroids and he just disappeared, while the reason for my visit was that I was as in pain and I was bleeding. I would have appreciated if he explained to me what was the cause and what are the precautions. When I realised that he just went off and didn’t even write anything on my maternity case record, I asked for a copy of the scan or the medical records on their end the nurse refused. It is very painful and disappointing that we don’t get the treatment we deserve. Their job is to serve but they behave like they’re doing us a favour.

Worst treatment and ignorance
The worst hospital i have ever seen my entire life,seriously sick people sleep on chairs the whole night without being attended you can sleep on a chair for 24hours straight without being admitted or checked, the staff is rude and entitled, I was transferred from a doctor but I ended up taking my transfer letter and leaving the hospital unattended

Worst treatment and ignorance

Horrible experience
I had a horrible experience here. Came to fetch my brother after he stayed there for 10days 2 of those days he spent unattended on a bench. Came discharge day, I came to fetch my brother after they've been calling me asking me to fetch him. I get to the hospital only to find the discharge form missing from his file. The Dr who was handling my brother's file never filed and discharge form and h3 had already knocked off. The only Dr who was on call was in theater and we had to wait over 2hours.

Far East Rand Regional Hospital- The House of Trauma
This supposed to be a Regional Hospital, but the environment the service, everything is disgusting!! The nurses are rude they think they own the hospital, they seem to have forgotten the pledge they took as health workers. They have no care for the patients, for almost 3 weeks of going to and from this hospital I am extremely disgusted, ward 7 on 2nd floor always smells of urine and when you go into ward 7 there are mentally disturbed patients mixed with patients who are ill!! these mentally disturbed patients will harass the families of the other patients for money etc. Theres 1 male nurse whose ego is bigger then him!! if you tell him anything he will say DONT TELL US how to do our Jobs or dont give us instructions!!! MR NURSE who do you think you are!?? you are rude and vile did you forget your pledge or did you become a nurse for name sake??? Can the department of Health Please go and re evaluate this so called regional hospital!! Dr Ramatlou was extremely helpful and so was Nurse Kia and a few others but the rest were absolutely full of attitude!
