Is FAIS ombud really an ombud?

Hi,

I can safely say in my Old Mutual case I referred to the FAIS ombud (FAIS-13748) I can safely say they came across as working with the Old Mutual. The whole time up to now it has been a mission getting feedback and three names later from the ombuds I still dont have the final outcome, old mutual has been having no reason to account nore reparate. I was ****med into a contract that old mutual is dismally failing to honiur and this ombuds has been sleeping on it. Words cannot explain the disappointment, the hurt and the disrespect coming with having to deal with people who act in good faith. What is the point of having the onbud????
