#Fais Ombud a law unto their own

Is the FAIS Ombudsman above the law? The assure a response within 60 - 90 days. Mine took a year. They declined my claim based on me complaining against the wrong company. Which was not true. I have the documents to prove it. They then go on to say I must lay the complaint against Nedbank whom I’ve never worked for. I have written back to them explaining their errors and they are just not interested in listening.
