Fairsure is a complete mess

This company is a complete mess. It’s been over three months of back-and-forth, and I still can’t file my tax return with SARS because of ongoing issues with tax directives. The eFiling deadline is in five days, and I’m still stuck waiting. I’ve sent more than ten emails to Thami, Banele, Tandiwe, Gadidja, Siyasibulele, Solethu, Nozintombi, Agnes, and Tebogo — not one proper response. Every time I call Fairsure and ask to speak to a team leader (Banele), I get different stories. Most times, no one even answers the phone — apparently, the operators are always “on lunch.” Because of this incompetence, I’m now facing possible penalties and interest from SARS. The way this company operates is shocking — it’s run like a corner shop, not a professional financial institution. I honestly feel sorry for the employees who have their provident funds here. One day, they might wake up and find their money gone.

Good day Mpho
Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this matter to our attention.
We sincerely apologise for the lack of communication you’ve experienced, and we understand how frustrating this must be.
Please rest assured that we have escalated your review internally, and a team member will be in touch.
This is not the standard we aim to uphold, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it.
Kind regards,
Fairsure

Best regards,

You’re fully aware that you’re being dishonest. I’m still waiting for your call.To add to the frustration, I took the initiative to contact Fairsure directly (probably for the 100th time now since 17 July 2025) and spoke with a representative named Colleen. She informed me that the team leader, Banele, was on lunch and requested that I leave my details—contact number and ID number—assuring me she would personally follow up and call me back. I made it clear to her that, based on my repeated experiences with Fairsure, your team has a consistent pattern of failing to honour such commitments. It’s now 16:30 and as expected, neither Banele nor Colleen has made any effort to return my call. This continued lack of accountability and disregard for clients is unacceptable. I’ve given this company way too many chances. My next step will be to escalate this matter formally to the Office of the Pension Funds Adjudicator (OPFA) and the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
