Worst service and experience at Fahrenheit Alberton

So I decided to book at Fahrenheit Alberton for supper for my wife and i as Edenvale branch burnt down and benoni was fully booked.

We arrived at 18:30 and we had a reservation for 18:30. Got to the door and a rude lady says to me if you haven’t booked we can't eat here. I said we booked and she could not find our surname on the list. I took out my phone and showed her our confirmation sms. They then took us to a table on the deck where everyone on the restaurant comes and smokes.

We ordered our starter and drinks at 18:50.

Drinks arrived fast. After a hour i called the manager to find out why our order hasn’t came yet. He left to check. Our waiter then came to our table 1 hour 15min since taking our order and asked can het take our order. I said “ we haven’t even received our starters yet” he had a shocked look on his face and said he will be back. 20min later the manager arrived with our starter and apologized. We placed our order for mains and drinks the same time as we didn’t know if it will take a hour again.

No salt or peper on the table and no waiter in sight. My wife got up and went to fetch salt & peper as our food was getting cold.

Our food arrived @ 20:46 a hour later again.

I will never ever support Fahrenheit Alberton again. I get better service from spur. You guys should be ashamed of your poor service.
