Facebook Security check error

My Facebook account wanted me to do a security check. At the end of the security check, a code must be sent to a phone number that does not belong to me. I have tried numerous routes to change the number or to report the problem to Facebook. It is impossible to get any help from them. I can't believe that a multi-billion dollar company cant assist or help its users.
