Facebook Has Devastated Our Church's Reach and Demoralised Our Media Team — *** Followers Affected

I am writing this complaint with a broken heart and deep disappointment in Facebook (Meta).

Our church, Itshe Legumbi, has spent years building a Facebook community that has now grown to *** followers.

These followers did not come overnight. Behind this achievement are years of dedication, sacrifices, sleepless nights, creativity and the tireless efforts of our church media team.

Our mission has always been simple: to spread the Gospel, share worship music, encourage people through motivational messages and bring hope to those going through difficult times.

Yet Facebook has repeatedly flagged our videos and restricted our page from recommendations and monetisation.

The damage is heartbreaking, and our analytics tell the story.

According to our Facebook Professional Dashboard, over the latest 28-day reporting period:

* Our views dropped by 81%. * Our engagement dropped by 85%. * Our new follows dropped by 87%. * Our latest post experienced a 68% decline in views.

These are not just statistics to us. They represent people we are no longer reaching and opportunities to spread encouragement that we may be losing.

What hurts the most is the restriction on recommendations.

If Facebook had restricted only our monetisation, it would still have been painful, but we could have continued sharing our message and growing our community.

Instead, the recommendation restriction threatens the very purpose for which we built this page.

How can a church reach new people when its content is no longer eligible for recommendations?

How can our media team remain motivated when almost every video they work so hard to produce is flagged?

We share church services, Gospel singing, prayers and motivational content. We do not understand why this content keeps triggering Facebook's enforcement systems.

We have contacted Facebook support on several occasions, but despite our efforts, the problem remains unresolved.

Our media team is exhausted, discouraged and deeply demoralised.

Imagine spending years building a community of over 211 000 people, only to watch your reach collapse while receiving no satisfactory explanation.

We are not demanding special treatment. We are asking for fairness, transparency and a genuine opportunity to resolve this matter.

We respectfully request that Meta:

1. Conduct a proper human review of Itshe Legumbi's page. 2. Explain which specific policies our videos allegedly violate. 3. Review the repeated flags on our Gospel and church-related content. 4. Restore our recommendation eligibility if the restrictions were app**** incorrectly. 5. Reconsider our monetisation restrictions and provide clear guidance on how to resolve any outstanding issues.

Facebook, behind those *** followers are real people. Behind every video is a dedicated media team. Behind our page is a church trying to spread hope.

We have worked too hard to build this community to watch everything fall apart without a fair explanation.

We are pleading with Meta to listen to us, review our situation and treat our church fairly.

We do not want to abandon what we have spent years building. We simply want our church to have a fair chance to reach people again. 💔
