Facebook asks for ID books and then doesn't action

I have been trying since 20th November to get into my account. Facebook keep asking me for my ID book (which I find suspicious). What can they possibly want with it. The other thing is, I have sent them the ID book, even at my better judgement, because I am desperate. Their Help portal is the worst I've seen for a Fortune 500 company. Why can't you just let me speak to someone? Not all problems fit into Facebooks terrible boxes. The new methods for getting help is like the death of customer service. No one gets back to me. There is not a person inside, just a stupid algorithm that is very dumb and can't support me.
