Can't like on Facebook

I've got a couple of issues with Facebook I'm currently an active Facebook user but it becomes a problem when I like posts too many times Facebook blocks me from liking anything ... What is the point of the like button. They say it's a safety procedure but I don't see how anyone or why would anyone hack into my account to like stuff... It happens to me every week then I have to wait a few days for them to unblock my liking. This does not make sense to me as why would a company block you from using their service? I am tired of this now and I want action taken
