Account recovery on Facebook

My account was hacked on the 18th of August and I have been having trouble logging in to my account regardless of how many times I have reset the password, every time when I try to login to my account, it says I have to put login code and should get it from code generator, I don't know what that is. I have attempted several times by sending my ID photo to verify that I'm the owner of the account and still nothing has been done, anyone who is able to assist so I can access my account please help me out.
