Grossly dissapointed by Ezlend
This is exactly as published on Ezlend's website: I had to laugh........ "We go so far as to offer flexibility at any stage, meaning that as your financial position changes, so can your contract. This means that your deal can be upgraded, downgraded, bought, or returned with very little hassle." Oh my gosh! quite the opposite! We had "rented" from the company for around 3 years or more-kept renewing, paid every month, sometime a day or 2 late etc. even though it was over priced. We thought we had built up a "good relationship" with Ezlend and t'c & c's were all good when we first rented. To cut a long story short, there are 2 things you need to know.... 1. When Covid hit, I asked for assistance to pay slightly less on the car, but to CONTINUE payments, and add on the shortfall to the end of the contract. The answer from Paul (an apparent partner in the business). and I have the response in writing: "We are not a bank", so please ensure you make the full payment! And they were unable to make any adjustments to our instalment. Does this sound flexible? AND / OR FLEXIBILITY as your position changes? NO! quite the opposite. They demanded we pay the full amount as per our contract! So clearly no brownie points for being a great customer! 2. You will not believe this! I was diagnosed with cancer, and at the hospital for treatment. I think it was either the 2nd or 3rd of the month. My husband explained our situation and they said "yes, they can see we are at Milpark". They told us they wanted to fetch the car immediately. My husband then said we would call them as soon as we returned home from my appointment at Milpark. Yes......this is all 100% correct! They told us as soon as we arrived home from the hospital, we should inform them and they would be "turning the car off" (in some other words), so we wouldn't be able to use it over the weekend at all, and until we had paid the amount due on Monday. They would then "switch it on again". (Not a word of comfort, like, "sorry to hear, I wish your wife better", oh my goodness - quite the opposite here too! So, my thoughts and advice, the wording in their website is TOTALLY false! They are simply nasty and no matter how good a customer you are is irrelevant. I'm in sales and say, always look after your existing customers, they are your best adverti*****t for your product, and it's FOR FREE! Oh and in addition, I stand to be corrected, I think we were on our 5th rental car from them! This all took place about a year ago or more, but somehow, I needed to get the "bad taste" from lurking. I'll leave it to you to make the call! (I didn't see an option for 0 rating above)
