Why has my credit score gone down when it has been going up prior?

Experian is genuinely making the process of improving one’s score and managing credit look like a process of “pay and hope for the better”.

I have been tracking my score improve on this platform month after month, paying my debts on time. On the 17 of June 2025, I was excited to be 3 Points away from the Next “Level/credit-score” . BUT today I logged in and found that I am 8 Points Down, at the least I should be on the same Score if you have not updated anything, and I did not do anything different with regards to credit except pay accounts on time ..This is ridiculous. I am in the middle of a transaction, and this is what I wake up to?? with no explanation.

What is even worse is that you have taken away the slider that shows points to the next credit score. How are we to see how many points we require to improve our score?

You are making this look random and not reflecting good credit behaviour. We rely on you to be consistent, transparent and dependable.
