Unfairly listed

I've received clearance from absa and was advised in writing they've sent communication to have my account removed but 8 months later I'm still ********ly listed and with an account that does not even belong to me, I can't apply for finance anywhere and these people don't seem to care they're ruining people's lives, someone, anyone, please help
