Terrible zero assistance

Have been trying to log a dispute on my husband's credit profile for 8 days now. Only received an automated message with a ref number clearly stating that this is not the dispute ref number which will only be issued once dispute has been registered. How long does it take to actually register the dispute? All my mails are sent back to me without any response???
