Refusing to update account settled >60days
It's a shame really that I have to use this platform multiple times to get Experian to give me a mere response.I have been going up and down wanting them to update my information.I settled and account with Acquifin and received a paid up letter which I have been forwarding to this bureau for months now but they refuse to update my profile.Despite providing proof of settlement, all disputes are always invalidated.
I have been disputing an account reflected with Acquifin for some time, but Experian has refused to properly investigate or update the record. Even worse, they have now linked a cellphone number that I do not recognise and have never used to my profile — yet insist that it belongs to me.
This raises serious concerns about data accuracy, consumer protection, and Experian’s accountability. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter, they have taken the side of the creditor without verifying the facts or giving me a fair chance to clear my name.
As a result, my credit reputation continues to suffer through no fault of my own. Experian’s handling of this matter shows clear bias, negligence, and disregard for consumer rights.
