Pillar to post for a free credit report

I called requesting for my free credit report, i was informed that i have to go onto the web site register and request it, i did that submitted my documents ( id, proof of res ) and waited for two weeks with no response, i then called again and was informed i should do the same as before, i told the agent that i requested this online thus me calling, he then asked for my ID and checked and said that the Proof Of res was not adequate, i should send my bank statement and id copy again to ********** which i promptly did thinking i would then receive my report, to my surprise i received a response from Thomas Skele saying that i should log on or call the call sent and request it. I HAVE BEEN SENT UP AND DOWN and frankly i think that the agents are just lazy and keep referring people to register and request the reports...... Please can someone assist as this should not be a mission that i have been subjected too.
