Outdated data and unresponsive consultants

Very frustrating experience with Experian. They unfairly treat us as consumers! I have no outstanding accounts in arrears but my credit score has not been updated in over 2 months! I try calling, wait for over 30 mins and eventually speak to a consultant who is outright RUDE and wouldn’t try to understand my problem.

I am losing work opportunities due to incorrect and outdated listings! I am at my wit’s end!

Good day
Our credit report is a record of all of your borrowing behaviors. This information is held for 3 years, and it’s updated every month. So you might think that if your report changes regularly, your credit score will change too. But this isn’t necessarily the case.Typically, if your credit score hasn’t changed it’s because nothing in your report has changed. But sometimes, even if the information in your report has changed, it won't always be reflected in a change to your score. Here are the four main reasons why your score may not have changed:

1. The information within your report hasn’t changed enough to alter your score2. Building up your credit score takes time3. Some lenders may like to see diversity in your credit report.4. Updates can take time to show up

Hi,

Thank you for the message, but this is not showing any attempt to address my challenge.

Kindly note that I understand that records are being kept for a duration of 3 years and I am not asking that you remove anything unduly. Secondly, all the accounts that were in arrears have been settled in the last 3 months. So I don't agree with you stating that "nothing has changed" I am writing to inform you that those changes have not been updated on your end. Please rectify. Also, other credit bureaus particularly TransUnion has managed to update my data so as it reflects accurate information.

Please advise once updates that have been actioned.

Waiting... still nothing... Looking at the other reviews since this one, seems this is not going to be resolved ever! Have no choice but to escalate this issue!
