No response from Compuscan
I don't understand why a company that holds such crucial information about people can be so unresponsive. I have been trying to get through to the Compuscan helpline - I was on hold for literally and hour. I sent an e-mail, no response. Not even acknowledgment of receipt. I am stilling with a default listing that has been paid. The credit provider says they forward the information early this month. It is now way past the legislated turnaround time and my crediit record looks a shambles even though I worked hart to fix it.,

19 Dec 2020, 11:34I thought there were turnaround times for these sort of issues. I received no call from any consultant and my credit report still has not been updated.
According to the law, credit bureaus are required to remove default listings within seven day of receiving notification from the credit provider. I know for a fact that the credit provider in my case notified you on December 4.
.The default listing should have been deleted from my profile by December 11 or by December 15 if you count business days. The company is therefore infringing on my rights as a consumer. And all you have to say for yourself is thank you for bringing it into your attention??? I should not have to bring it to your attention. You should know your obligations towards consumers and you should ensure that you do right by them.
Come on, you really have to do better than that!!

14 Jan 2021, 14:39So just an update - no one did try to contact me. The adverse was removed, my accounts are all up to date - yet my credit score has not changed. When I login to my profile - it tells me I need to pay off my overdue accounts - Hello. I have. It says I recently missed payments. not true. And to make matters worse, accounts that were closed in 2017 and 2018 are still showing. I don't understand... so I still have an issue - a big one at that.
