Incorrect information on credit profile

I am lodging a formal complaint against Experian regarding the handling of my credit-profile dispute and the continued reporting of information that I believe is incorrect and not properly verified.

I disputed information relating to an MBD account and provided supporting documentation, including an IPDA/debt review statement. Despite this, Experian’s credit report currently reflects a last-payment date of 07-08-2025, which does not align with the supporting records available to me.

There are also significant inconsistencies in the information supp**** by MBD, including different payment dates and amounts. These discrepancies were brought to Experian’s attention, yet the information appears to have been accepted or recorded without adequately reconciling it with the documentary evidence.

My concern is that Experian, as a credit bureau, has a responsibility to maintain and report accurate, complete and properly verified information. The continued reporting of disputed information that is inconsistent with the available records is unacceptable and can negatively affect a consumer’s credit profile and access to credit.

I have already engaged with Experian and the National Credit Regulator (NCR) regarding this matter. I am now requesting that Experian conduct a proper and transparent investigation rather than simply relying on information supp**** by the data provider without addressing the inconsistencies.

I request that Experian:

1. Properly investigate the disputed information. 2. Reconcile MBD’s information against the IPDA/debt review records and other supporting documentation. 3. Explain in writing how the 07-08-2025 last-payment date was established. 4. Correct any information that cannot be substantiated or is found to be inaccurate. 5. Provide me with the documentary basis for the information currently reflected on my credit profile. 6. Ensure that my credit profile reflects accurate and properly verified information.

I have retained my correspondence and supporting documentation and have already escalated the matter to the NCR. If this issue is not properly resolved, I will consider pursuing the matter through the appropriate regulatory and dispute-resolution channels.

I expect Experian to treat this complaint seriously and provide a substantive response addressing the specific discrepancies rather than a generic response.
