Incorrect Information
So to my shock I discover that Compuscan, whom I never heard of, has incorrect information on my record, which they published. <br> <br> I do not have such an account, what makes it worse is, that this account was apparently opened in 2001, has a R780 monthly premium, but a balance of R100???<br> <br> The NCR should close down Compuscan. I reported it, but as usual, you get a lot off read replies, but no response.

You reported this matter to us on 11 May 2015 and we responded on the same day with a reference number and confirmation that we will investigate the matter on your behalf.
Please note that whilst we can and do run certain validation checks, we are obliged to accept the filing of account information in terms of the National Credit Act. It can be that an account was app**** for in a consumer's name **********ly or that there has been a problem with the actual reporting by the credit provider.
For this reason, the National Credit Act provides for the right for a consumer to dispute information on his credit report. We have duly discharged our duties to you in this regard. Your dispute has reached the final stages and we will communicate with you once completed.
