Haunted by paid up judgement that Experian refuse to remove

I'm extremely frustrated with the credit bureau. Despite my best efforts to find a job, they have not updated my credit profile, which has severely impacted my ability to move forward with my life. I was previously under debt review, and one of the creditors, Nedbank, obtained a judgment against me. This judgment was listed on my credit report which is normal process.

I've since paid off the debt in full, and the creditor has closed the account and credit bureaus updated status as such. I've submitted the paid-up letter, and my debt counsellor has also provided a paid-up letter and clearance certificate. The account is now marked as closed, and the debt review flag has been removed from my credit report. However, the judgment remains.

I'm at a loss as to how this is possible. The debt has been fully resolved, yet the judgment continues to haunt me. I feel like my life is being held hostage by this company. I desperately need a job, and I've been trying to get the paid-up judgment removed, but my efforts have been futile. I've called and filed disputes, but I'm constantly told to wait - f48 working hours, then 7 to 21 working days. The goalpost keeps moving, and I'm left feeling powerless. I need to know who I can contact to ensure the credit bureau fulfills their obligations and removes the paid-up judgment from my record.

Very upset Signed, previous Nedbank credit card owner
