False information given to credit providers.

I paid off my Jet account 2 years ago. This account is no longer with the credit provider or any other credit bereau but to my surprise, Experian still carries the account and it shows as if I never pay the account.. please advice why you do not remove paid up accounts when instructed to do so as you are distributing false information on consumers.
