Expirian acts *******ly and should not be trusted with personal info

Dishonest & ******* behaviour from this organisation. I have been trying to remove wrong/prescribed debts from my credit record for 6 months, they obfuscate, they lie, act *******y and ignore in order to not remove. This is too benefit the credit providers who they are beholden to(financially), why should Experian have my private info if they do not abide by the law.

I tried to remove prescribed debt from my record, 1st time they said the credit provider produced “credible evidence” that The debt is not prescribed, I asked to be provided with the “evidence. I received an email saying “please find attached, credible evidence” ALAS, there was no attachment on the mail! Second time round I was ignored, 3rd time They just pretended that they do not see the item on my credit record, even though I gave them the name.

Another thing to look out for, if something is “removed by experian” from your record, It might not be. Because when I went to checkers, I found an item on my credit record i got from checkers that was supposedly removed from Experian. This indicates to me that they may be giving different info to the consumer and different info to the credit providers.

I really dont believe this company should be in a position of trust with consumer’s personal information.

Reviewer Update
Good day
your response once again proves the statement I have made in the initial review on how Experian conducts business.. once again you are obfuscating and being dishonest. You have stated the account “Nedbank Personal loans” has been declared a judgment. This is not true. The evidence you sent as “proof of judgment” does not relate to the account in question.

As a matter of fact, the ‘evidence’ you have sent states that “the account can’t be removed as the prescription process was broken in July 2019”. That is more than 3 years and I request once again that the account (Nedbank Personal loan’ be removed due to prescription. Why are you guys obfuscating and not addressing consumers. This is definitely an ******* abuse of consumer rights.
