Experian SA has nothing to be proud of! Is the watchdog maybe a ****?

Let me start with what Experian says on their website: "We’re proud of our data and it’s what we can do with it to help businesses that really gets us excited."

As far as our experience is concerned - They have very little to be proud of - In fact, Experian, as far as our experience at Priority 1 (a company with a fair number of employees), are concerned, have been harmed by Experian. They have listed our CEO as a person under debt review, which he never was!

We have spent the past three weeks proving the fact to them! Court orders had been issued, legal letters to remove the false listing had been sent, personal phone calls had been made, and yet, they have not removed this false listing from their records.

Now, you might ask, what does this false listing have to do with our company? Fair Question... Priority One is a security company protecting the mining industry and other operational farms in South Africa. As such, we are during this trying time of Covid 19, as an essential services company, under the moral obligation to serve our clientele, even those whom are struggling to pay us for our services because of various economic and logistical reasons.

We therefore approached a financing institution for bridging capital to pay our employees. Because of the false listing of our CEO, whom signs personal surety for these funding instruments, we now were rejected for such funding.

More than a hundred families will now bear the brunt of their ********* information. My question therefore is: How can Experian be proud of their services, if this is the result of their so-called "pioneering combination of data, technology and advanced analytics " which they proudly report in the 1st paragraph of their website. Let's analyse this claim they make... "Pioneering combination of data" - false!! If this was pioneering they would not list someone as under debt review if this was never the case! "Pioneering...technology" - false!! Even if the debt review was correct - which of course it is not, their so-called pioneering technology would have picked up that this false listing of theirs is out-dated. The debt review is listed more than 13 years ago! "Advanced analytics.." False!! How can their technology lead to advanced analytics if their data is out dated and their information is incorrect. What hoax of an organisation they must be, to actively block growing industry with false information. Three weeks and no action from their side... They claim "Innovation, Speed and Scale" as pillars of their business - they best list themselves as *****! Signed: CFO of Priority 1
