Experian refusing to correct incorrect information on credit report.

My account information for my Capitec loan is logged incorrectly on Experian. I have a fixed term 72 months loan but the description under loan type on my experian report says its a short term loan payable in 1 month. I have logged a query with Experian and they refereed me to Capitec. Capitec rep**** that they did not give them that description and Experian must fix the error. Despite this email and 3 months later, Experian has still not fixed the issue with the last consultant I spoke to today telling me "that information is not important", I asked him is it accurate? and he said "No but it doesn't matter". I give up
