Experian refuses to remove incorrect information from credit report #3
I registered a dispute regarding incorrect contact information associated with my profile, only to be told "update all your personal details with all your credit and service providers. This information will filter through to the bureaus and get updated on your report". I rep**** indicating that the numbers I am referring to are not mine and have never belonged to me; I have never provided them to any of my credit / service providers and I have no idea how that information ended up on my credit report, which makes it impossible for me to remove them. More than two months later they have still not responded or updated my credit record, despite telling me five weeks ago that "A consultant will be in touch shortly to assist", and then again three week ago that someone will "be in touch".
This is the third time I am complaining about this on HelloPeter, every time they reply that "A consultant will be in touch shortly to assist", and no-one ever does. It's now been more than 3 weeks since my most recent complaint, Experian. When, exactly, will this consultant "be in touch"? I will keep posting negative reviews until I actually get a human being to respond, instead of a bot.
Credit bureaus are legally required to remove incorrect information from a credit record when a dispute is logged. You are breaking the law by refusing to remove incorrect information from my credit report.
