Experian refuses to remove entries even with a paid up confirmation from Vodacom's legal department.
An incorrect entry posted by Vodacom to my Experian record is causing havoc in my life for months now. Experian refuses to accept the paid up letter from Vodacom. According to them they had a problem with Vodacom's file. How is this my concern? Vodacom's record to Experian incorrectly states that I owe them R12 000 balance for a contract that I closed almost 3 years ago and to add insult to injury, also lists the balance as an instalment of R12000 a month for a cellphone contract that I do not have. Vodacom's legal department is even worse to deal with to get this resolved. The result is that I get declined for affordability when wanting to purchase a home / car. Experian's data is really badly maintained. I now have to wait yet another 20 days for them to do 4 disputes on my credit profile. Experian you suck!
