Experian and Rage

Experian & RAGE – A *****ulent Account Is Affecting My Financial Future, Yet Nobody Is Willing to Take Responsibility

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the way RAGE and Experian have handled a *****ulent account that was opened in my name.

A RAGE account was opened *****ulently, and I took the necessary steps to dispute the matter. TransUnion investigated the issue and removed the *****ulent account from my credit profile. However, the same *****ulent information remains on Experian's database.

This means that whenever I apply for credit, whether for personal or business purposes, this *****ulent RAGE account can still affect how my application is viewed.

What makes the situation even more frustrating is the complete lack of assistance. I have tried contacting Experian, but getting through to someone who can actually assist is extremely difficult. I have also tried contacting RAGE, but I have not been able to get the assistance required to resolve the matter and ensure that the *****ulent account is properly cleared.

How can companies have such a significant influence over people's financial lives and futures, yet make it so difficult for consumers to speak to someone when there is an error or ***** on their profile?

This is not simply a minor administrative issue. A *****ulent account on someone's credit profile can potentially affect their ability to obtain financing, grow a business, purchase assets, or make important financial decisions.

What I am asking for is simple:

RAGE and Experian need to take accountability and correct the information.

If an account has been proven to be *****ulent and another major credit bureau has already removed it, why should the same incorrect information continue to remain on another credit bureau's records?

Consumers should not have to spend months chasing companies to correct information that should never have been associated with them in the first place.

I am asking Experian and RAGE to stop passing responsibility back and forth and actually work together to resolve this matter. People's names, reputations and financial futures are at stake.

At this point, my experience has left me feeling that Experian and RAGE have become a very damaging combination: one company has allowed *****ulent information to originate on a consumer's profile, while the other continues to report it despite the dispute and the fact that it has already been removed by TransUnion.

I sincerely hope that someone with the authority to resolve this matter sees this complaint and takes action.

Consumers deserve better. ***** must be taken seriously, and when an error is proven, it should be corrected promptly.
