Duplicated listing
I have previously logged a complaint about DMC listing accounts after the adverse listing from tenacity and truworths was removed . None of your consultant are attending to my complaints.. i cant be listed twice for the same debts. Why is Experian allowing DMC to list customer for the account that had adverse listing that was removed.. this is ********
Dmc ref ***4 - original account number *** tenacity DMC -original account number *** truworths
Can i get an urgent response as i need this matter sorted ASAP

We would like to offer our apologies for the inconvenience caused in this matter.
Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the DMC 5 accounts.
After reviewing the details, we would like to clarify that the DMC 5 accounts are the sold accounts originating from Truworths & Tenacity.
When a debt is sold, the new owner (DMC 5) inherits the rights to collect on that debt, including the terms of the original agreement. It is important to note that no new agreement needs to be signed by the consumer for this transfer to be valid.
The original agreement you signed with the initial creditor remains legally binding, even after the debt is sold. The debt buyer essentially steps into the role of the original creditor and can enforce the terms of the original agreement.
We hope this provides clarity on the matter. Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us

28 May 2025, 07:42You have not attended to my dispute .. the answer you gave is not alined with the complaint raised ..
Kindly provide me with the ref number of this complaint.
This complaint is not about DMC collecting on the accounts. This complaint is about DMC listing accounts that were previously listed by creditors.
As per the National credit act a consumer cant be listed twice for the same debt.. Experian has inabled DMC with the power to voilate the consumers rights by listing then for a debt that they have been previously listed for by the creditors.
I need the DMC accounts to be removed from my profile urgently. If Experian is failing to do their duty in this regard. i will log a complaint with the NCR and Credit Ombudsman as i cant be listed twice the same debt. Its not done
