Dispute on not removing my name

***!!!! Me and my wife went into Debt counselling for more than 7 years back. It has been almost more over a year now and my name is still not removed from the credit Bureau. Every letter is sent, everything is done. But why should we wait for a credit company to give us permission to do whatever we want to do with our financial status. Give me back my Credit, NOW!!!
