Credit Status not Updated on time

<p>I settled a debt with African Bank about a year ago. I received a confirmation from African Bank that they have informed Transunion and Experian that I have settled this account. Transunion updated my credit status within two weeks. To date Experian has not updated my credit status, their system shows that the account is still active and I'm not paying monthly installments. This account is settled and closed and it should reflect like this on their system. This is affecting my credit score and every time I'm applying for credit I get rejected because of this.</p>
