Compuscan not updating profile
I have tried for days since the 30th August 2019 to get three accounts I have with finchoice updated with ITC all old closed accounts since 2017, to date I have only managed to get three Credit reference agencies (CRA's) updated, with alot of calls been ,made back and forth to Finchoice and the CRA's. it was the most daunting experience ever. Now I have one CRA left to update which is compuscan, I called compuscan and they have advised that they did receive the instruction to close accounts however this was not clear instructions. They have responded to finchoice asking for further details but no response. I called Finchoice and asked them to check up on this, yet they ask me to go back to the CRA and find out which email address they have responded to. I called Compuscan back and the consultant questioned why they would ask me to do such a thing as all they need to do is check for responses on my account from Compuscan. This is becoming so frustating accounts that were paid up months ago, have not been updated. As a part of my consumer right Finchoice was supposed to be updating information with the CRA's one a month, clearly this has not happened. I am not in a position where I am looking for finance but these closed accounts are showing on my profile as opened and affecting my affordability and credit score. Finchoice have no idea what stress they are causing me, by making this so difficult. I keep getting through to so many people at the call centre, yesterday I was promised a call back from the Supervisor Maurice, who never called me back. He seems to be busy everytime I call. I cannot get any joy from this, all I want is my details to be updated with all four CRA, and right now Compuscan has not. So, Finchoice did get in touch with me, Maurice has been in contact with me throughout the day. Maurice has explained that the instruction to be updated with compuscan was initially sent through by the person that did not have authorisation to do so. He then subsequently requested that the correct person send this through, this was done at 8:35am. I then called Compuscan at 11:07am only to find out they have not received this email. I called finchoice back spoke to Maurice again, and he confirmed who sent this email and where it was sent to. I then spoke to Compuscan who then checked with their admin department who says they have not received this. I have communicated this to Finchoice, and awaiting their feedback. So Compuscan are telling me that if Finchoice can re-send the email and copy me in so I also have confirmation that this has been done, this would be helpful, but Finchoice is saying they are unable to do this. Compuscan is asking if FInchoice can send me a letter stating what they need to do with the three accounts then they will action, but Finchoice is unable to do this. In the meantime me the consumer is getting affected, I am paying for these calls, my time is been wasted, and all over accounts that were supposed to be updated with Compuscan one to two years ago, further to this, I cannot proceed with what I need to two weeks later. Back and forth, back and forth this is ridiculous, and neither companies are bothered to look at my case, pick up the phone get in touch with eachother and resolve the matter they are all expecting me to be the mediator. Compuscan have yet to get in touch with me to let me know what the issues are, I myself sent the statements to them showing them that the accounts are in zero balance. A lady by the name of Wendy Piet asks me to send through settlement letters early this morning via email. I explain I do not have settlement letters, as these were transferred accounts, I asked for her to confirm that this is sufficient but no response from her. So Compuscan deny they have received Finchoices emails, no one responds to my escalation. I am tired of this now. Both companies sit with feet crossed whilst informing me to call on the next and request information. The best part about this is that the same instruction was sent to all 4 Credit reference agencies, it appears that Experian, Transunion and XDS have done what they needed to, but Compuscan have not, as they A did not get the instruction from the correct person, and B did not understand the instruction. I am now left in a predicament where I am frustrated, not able to carry on with my financial preparation to get myself into a better situation all because these two companies cannot communicate properly with eachother and expect me to do all the hard work in getting this sorted out.
