Compuscan Credti Bureau

<p>I have recently interacted with Compuscan Credit Bureau. This company is keeping VERY OLD information on their data base. When I enquired about this issue from them, they told me that the law allows them to keep the information for 5 years. I asked them if they knew anything about "Prescribed Debt". They seemed to be clueless. The problem is that there are more and more Creditors who are now using this Compuscan, which does not seem to know what they are doing. There is also information that they claim has been verified/activated a few months ago and that is a LIE! I ended reporting them to the Credit Ombudman and I am still waiting for them to complete their investigation.</p> <p>There are companies that are listed as if I have active loans with them. They really need to be monitored so that they do the right thing or just stop this business as they disadvantage people with their scoring system. Some of us are unable to contribute to the economy of this country even though we are working due to the companies like Compuscan.</p>
