Complaint

From an ex employees point of view I've never seen such exploitation in my life and this goes to show that our government/public protector isn't playing their part because these private companies are getting away with a lot. There was a whole department (call centre) that was functioning/operated by learnerships and at the end of the day they were left hanging whilst on their duties/contracts were getting less than minimum wage while delivering the desired end results that was supposed to be fulfilled by a permanent employee. Most of these ex colleagues are struggling to make ends-meat as we speak (never got permanent roles, just contract extensions) whereas the company was able to build a good BEE score through their selection process that exploits the desperate candidates for these positions
