Closed account remains open/current
I had a car insurance with Old Mutual/ iwyze which I closed in October 2022. This account remains open/current to date on my credit profile despite numerous attempts to have it updated as closed. I have sent countless times the cancellation letter to Experian and asked them to update with no luck. This affects my credit score and I don’t even know what to do anymore as I don’t get help. It was last updated in October 2022 but remains open or active account. Please update accordingly.

According to you I’m still paying R1030 every month to that ‘closed and or cancelled’ car insurance… and I’m paying also Discovery Insure the R1181…I’m not paying 2 premiums for 1 car. YOU MUST PUT THE OLD MUTUAL ONE AS CANCELLED THEN, Not opened… it’s NOT part of my MONTHLY RESPONSIBILITY, which you have put as such. It’s LIES that you saying that the cancelled car insurance is still part of my monthly responsibility.
