Bad service even after hellopeter review

Hi Can you please enlighten me how credit score works, I've settled most of my accounts in August and my balances are moving down too, why is my credit score going down since August my score was 634 then I settled accounts it moved down to 625 and today my score is 619? Doesn't paying accounts increase score atleast monthly but decreases it? Like really
