WILL NEVER RECCOMMEND. Terrible service.

Extremely unhappy with the service from Execuspecs Walmer Park in Port Elizabeth. I had my eye appointment on 11 Dec. The very same day, I picked out the frames for the specs and sunglasses. I paid in full (almost R5000) before leaving the store.

I was informed that the order had been processed and should receive both pairs within 10 working days. According to my tracking and order number, the glasses would be available by 20th Dec. The spectacles only arrived on the 24th Dec and I collected the same day. I was informed that the sunglasses would be delivered by latest the 30th Dec.

After 5 phone calls to Execuspecs, speaking to either Cleo or Tharika, I was told that they would get back to me and no one ever did. I felt like I was being a nuisance for following up because no one got back to me.

When I finally was informed that I could collect the sunglasses (on the 9th Jan) they were a different pair of frames to what I had initially had picked.

No problem! These things happen. At this point I had spent the whole holiday with no sunglasses. I just wanted any pair no matter what the frames looked like. I was informed that I cannot take it as that may have been someone else's frames.

After calling Execuspecs again a week later, I was informed that I can collect the "wrong" frames to wear so long and return them (after wearing them) when the right frames get delivered.

I called again today ( two weeks later) and was informed that the sunglasses will be delivered on the 28th of January.

I have no problem to wait for anything. I understand that mistakes happen, i understand that this was during the festive season. All I've asked for over and over again (telephonically and face to face in store) is that someone just let me know and I can plan around it. Customers shouldn't feel like they are being a nuisance due to bad service and communication.

Quick question. If I am wearing someone's sunglasses or frames, who is wearing mine? Do I get new ones and still give the worn sunglasses back after wearing them for almost a month?
