last week went to the for my eye test only to find out that did not have funds on my medical aid , was then advised to pay cash for an eye test. i called in on my monday to book for friday appointment but the i had to take leave from work since my eeyes i giving me problem and i cant see propaly. i went there today i told the ladies on the front desk that i brought my old frame and ill be paying cash they now explain to me that the eye test will be 579 rands i wanted to pay and the lady said no lest wait for the eye test first. a lady came to fetch me for an eye test she then confirmed that yes i need spectacles she then work out a quote on three different options, the lady on the fron desk now came with 3 different pages explained the quotes the first on was 8 thousand something rands , 2 five thousand rands the last one four thousand something rands there and there she said i need to put the 80 percent deposit so that they can start to work on my glasses. then the urgument started i asked that why was i told from the onset that i need to bring 80% so that atleast i know that when i pay for the test i also need to pay something, we started urguing there i told them that i thoufgt that after the eye test ill leave my frame after that 7-10 working days ill come fetch my spectacles and pay. even that those quotes were rediculose when i said that they worked sothing cheaper to 1300 i then agree to the 1300 but still i told them i dont have the 80% the lady tol me that she needs to ask her manager if i can leave my frame and pay once they are done, she then took her cell phone went to the other room i waited , i waited for her to come back with a feedback ithen realise that i was being played a fool her i then payed for the eye test i left. no phone call nothing, when i got home i tried to call twice the first i wasd put on hold, the second time i was told that the women was busy. nobody has called me till now. they are just money making scheme taking from the poor, they did not disclose the the full information
