Terrible Experience with Excus Logistics and Transport (Pty) Ltd – Use at Your Own Risk

We had a truly frustrating and unacceptable experience with Excus Logistics and Transport (Pty) Ltd, under the direction of Amos, whose lack of urgency and accountability is shocking for someone in a leadership role. It’s clear why Washington, one of the employees, mirrored this unprofessional attitude.

Our load was collected on 29 April 2025 in Cape Town, with delivery scheduled for Durban. Today is well past that, and after numerous calls and constant chasing from our side, there is still no sign of proper communication or professionalism from their team.

At some point, they even mentioned missing a turn and using a route they didn’t know — which is completely baffling for a logistics company. To make matters worse, we were repeatedly redirected to Bulls Removals, a company we had no contractual agreement with, raising serious concerns around subcontracting without consent.

We had to involve the police due to the sheer lack of accountability. There was zero proactive communication, only defensive and evasive responses when we called them ourselves.

If any of our goods arrive damaged — and we pray they don’t — we will be pursuing full compensation from Excus Logistics. A company that fails to respect timelines, lacks communication, and doesn’t take responsibility should not be in the business of transporting people’s valuable belongings.

Avoid them unless you’re willing to deal with stress, confusion, and a potential legal headache.
