Moving ********

<p>I just had the worst relocation experience in my entire life and was ****med by Excuss Logistics. They quoted me R1600-00 to move my furniture this weekend from Chartwell to Randburg. I gave them a full inventory of my 2 bedroom cottage to obtain the quote. When they arrived they had a small truck (just bigger than the average single cab bakkie and I told them that the truck is too small. They said that they will do the move in 2 trips because the bigger trucks are booked. I agreed to this and they collected my items at 08h00am. By 15h30pm only they returned for the 2nd load - with me having to wait for them to complete other moves. After collecting the 2nd trip, I get a phone call from Promise Nyati telling me that they will only deliver the furniture to the new address if I pay them R3172-00.</p> <p>I did purchase 16 additional boxes at R30 each (which was a complete rip-off as the boxes provided was small and too small to use for pots & kitchen items). With the 2nd move they left 3 potplants (as stated they cant pick them up) as well as 2 painting and 4 boxes. So they did not even COMPLETE the move.</p> <p>The potplants was moved by another company in September 2016 quite easily with no problem.</p> <p>Therefore, I ended up paying R3172 for a quoted move of R1600-00, 2 trips, half of the items NOT delivered.</p> <p>The worst was the attitude of Mr Nyati where he was yelling and screaming at me and basically held my goods at ransom. I was shocked to be treated in this manner - and Mr Nyati did not seem to care that a quotation was given and agreed upon.</p> <p>I have relocated over 21 times before and have never experienced treatment like this and never been ****med before. I have no recource with this company other than to provide a review and hope that other people do not fall into the same trap as me and get ****med.</p>
