Lies on Lies

If I could, I would have given a ZERO!

I recently moved down to Cape town and made use of Excuss logistics. If you think of having peace of mind, do not use them!

Promise the owner is full of promises but sadly one needs to follow up and start using the small claims court as last resort to get anything out of him.

1. He promised that after collection on Thursday 27 July all furniture and boxes will be delivered on Saturday 29 July. Then moved it to Sunday then moved it to Monday morning. Guess what, I only received my belongings at 20:30 Monday evening and a two night airbnb bill of R1800.00 I had to pay. He assured me that my items will be loaded into the truck and never be offloaded, not the case! My stuff was clearly just shoved into the back of the truck after loading it at my home at the back of the truck. 2. His men stole two bottles of expensive alcohol which he replaced after I a big fight and proof of the box and the items. Lucky for me I photographed everything going on the truck. 3. They damaged a sentimental corner cupboard quite badly and broke it's glass door. I had to follow up numerous times on when the glass for the door will be delivered and again had to threaten to take the matter to lawyers before he delivered the glass. The cupboard is still damaged but can at least still be used. 4. It's been two 7 weeks to date and still have not received my blankets they misplaced. Doubt I'll get these back.

Rather make use of a reputable company! Excuss Logistics are not one of them!

Dear Carel

We apologies for the experience you have had with our service. We agree that we have taken longer than necessary to resolve your issue. The process to come to a decision to compensate your loss is quite rigorous as we have no way of ascertaining the contents of each of your boxes, so this has to be proved beyond reasonable doubt. We have non the less went ahead and compensated you for the bottles of beer and the glass which we rightly admitted responsibility. The delay in delivering the glass has been impeded by the frequency of our trips in your location. Regarding the blankets that you say are missing we have been in communication with your partner Mr Juan and are yet to receive the exact blankets that need replacement. We are still  committed to compensate you in full for the loss and it is unfortunate that you have completely ignored our on going communication with your partner Mr Juan and portray us in such negative light.

Once again we unreservedly apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and as an organisation we continue to learn from such mistakes and strive for continuous improvement.

Regards
