HELL!! DISASTROUS MOVE! SLOW. CARELESS. RUDE. HARASSED FOR MORE MONEY, DUMPED ******* AND BROKE TREES

What Disastrous Move Bloem to Jhb! Never Again! Excuss Logistics. Mom and I used movers two years ago and vowed to never use them again hence this time we used a different agency and booked via Evelin, Clairemovals. Received a quote, paid a deposit, and once off loaded, it was agreed cod. BUT when the movers arrived hours late we realized -it's the exact same movers trading under another name Excuss Logistics! The details -all of the tel numbers on the truck didn't exist. They loaded all the furniture, besides one massive table, and then told my Mom there's no space left - sorry it has to stay! Can you believe it! Then they insisted on getting paid on the spot (using we have no diesel money as an excuse). Mom refused as our deal was cod with the company we booked through. Three men then continued to argue with her and harassed her. They then decided to off load all of their ******* right on her lawn (leaving her landlord very irate) and then told Mom that they decided that they'll only offload a day later. Another argument erupted, and eventually they agreed they will offload at 7. 8h40 the movers arrived to offload (after i had to spend R50 airtime and drive around for 30 minutes trying to find them to lead them to Mom's new house) Once they arrived at the premises. They insisted on getting paid before they even switch off the truck! They then said they wanted couple thousand more because the entrance was 20 feet away from the truck and that comes at an extra charge. We argued and explained that we want Mom's furniture and belongings out of the truck and that we had no more money - we agreed on a quote and there was no terms and conditions. However, this driver had a new quote under his company name with pages of terms and conditions. After 40minutes of arguing and harassing us, the driver then decided that he will break all the trees that is blocking the trucks way and proceeded to ram into the trees with the 8ton truck - breaking 3 massive trees. THAT'S when the owner of the property came out flying and all hell broke loose! ..after a hell of a fight, the 3 movers offloaded the furniture - breaking a few items. Just dropped it where ever they wanted in the cottage and when Mom tried to explain that the fridge must please go into the kitchen - they rep**** - we paid for offload, and that's what they are doing. Putting it where it belongs is not their job. While offloading for 2 hours they continued to harass Mom and i for more money , knowing that she is a pensioner- they said they wanted a ''bonus'' for good job. REALLY!!!!   I will have moving nightmares from this company for years to come.
