DAMAGED GOODS - POOR SERVICE, WORSE ATTITUDE

Extremely bad experience with Excuss Logistics.<br> <br> I had a few items transported by Excuss Logistics from Johannesburg to Cape Town. I received a quote telephonically.<br> <br> AFTER my items were collected from Jo'burg I was informed that the quote was being increased. I was told that if I am unwilling to pay the new quote that my goods will be returned to their location in Johannesburg and I will be liable for the cost of the transport.<br> <br> Before the truck with items left for Cape Town I was asked if I want my coffee table to be wrapped in bubble wrap. I said it is fine if they do not cover the coffee table since it was old.<br> <br> When the goods arrived in Cape Town it was clear that NONE of the goods were covered. Several items (not just the coffee table) were extensively damaged and covered in dirt. A small table and a folding tray table were missing. A bed was punctured, and a bin was smashed.<br> <br> Excuss have taken more than a month to escalate my insurance query. Their service has been appalling and they continue to insist that I agreed that no items be covered.<br> <br> I will NEVER use Excuss Logistics again. Extremely poor service and a worse attitude.
