Replacement of Seattles with EB Cafe disappointing

I have watched the closing of Seattle outlets adjacent to Exclusive Books with growing dismay. The Exclusives/Seattle partnership was a perfect combination. My family and I have spent many happy hours browsing books in order to make a choice about which to purchase while sipping on delicious Seattle offerings. This week a closing notice was displayed at Hyde Park Seattle. The staff told me that it was to be replaced by an EB Cafe but they were unsure as to when this was going to happen. The drinks offered by EB Cafe are limited, very small and expensive. The food is unusual to say the least and very pricey. I have noticed in the many hours I have spent in the Hyde Park Seattle that the majority of the beverages ordered are speciality coffees such as lattes, cappuccinos and Frozen drinks which are not available at EB Cafe. And most seem to prefer a tall or grande and not the thimble of coffee offered by EB Cafe. I am hoping that the Hyde Park EB Cafe will have more on offer than the one at Rosebank. Otherwise it is likely that patrons will purchase their beverages from Thavas or anywhere else in Hyde Park and attempt to find a vacant seat in the Bookstore.
