Kings of False Advertising

I was looking so forward to this release of the 8th Harry Potter. I registered for tickets, I invited two friends who are HUGE fans. And we were excited for an epic Harry Potter themed evening of awesomeness.
Exclusive Books described this event as a "party" as well as "exclusive" and what was it?! A line. A three and a half hour line for the overpriced book. I should have known that they were going to be disappointing because when clarifying details for the event, with their team over Facebook, I was treated as if I was stupid and didn't follow instructions- i.e. read the terms and conditions (which I did and this is why I had questions). They were so rude in our communications but still as a fan I thought it would be great to experience this.
Turns out the fans put in waaaaaaaay more effort than exclusive ever could. I know many many people who went out this morning and purchased the book for cheaper with no queues and more of an experience.
I am sick and have legs that are in spasm but because of the promise of a party I decide to go and experience this amazing, exclusive party we were promised. And now I'm left tired, in more pain and hugely disappointed.
Being in marketing, myself, I'm still in shock and awe that Exclusive Books could be so rude and falsey advertise to such a passionate group of fans, especially when the book could be found at a cheaper price from friendlier people.
